Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies

Dr. Aveivey teaches courses on Chinese and Korean Society, Social Institutions, China Nationalism & Communism, and Intellectual Currents of East Asia. She received her PhD from the Centre for East Asian Studies, SIS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She had completed an MPhil from DEAS and an MA in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

Dr. Aveivey was a Research Fellow under the China India Scholar Leader Initiative at India China Institute, The New School, New York. Prior to this, she had taught at VIPS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Aveivey also taught at Tetso College, Dimapur.
